I am a counselor by day, but my work is defined by who I am off the clock. I am a mom, daughter, sister, nurse, homework tutor, a cook, a semi workout enthusiast (if you catch me on the right day), a blogger, and an author.
I have two sons, and I love being a mom. It is one of the greatest roles I have in life. I do, however, wish there was a detailed instruction manual for this parenting thing, because I know I've messed up several times along the way. (Sorry, boys.)
I started this blog because I want to form and become a part of a community of women who understand the importance of transforming from the woman they are into the woman they were created to be. In the midst of me learning some really tough lessons, there were many days I felt like I was doing things all alone. I learned money-saving tips, things about relationships, how to make some pretty delicious meals, and most of all my relationship with Christ blossomed into the best thing that has happened for me. I hope to share all of these things and more with women all over the globe.
No one ever said life would be easy, but I truly believe if we break out of stagnant mentalities we can be everything we desire to be and more. One day at a time.
Thanks again, for stopping by!
